Tree planting in Oupeye (Forest in one Day)

On Sunday 22 November 2026, Luminus and the Jane Goodall Institute Belgium, in collaboration with Sylva Nova and the municipality of Oupeye, will plant 3,000 trees in Oupeye. 🌳

Tree planting in Oupeye (Forest in one Day)

A new forest will be created on municipal land formerly occupied by football pitches. A walking trail will also be created alongside a row of tall trees, as well as a dog park covering around 30 ares where dogs can run freely. 🐶

We invite you to come and plant these trees with us between 10.00 and 16.00. Because every pair of hands counts! Choose your time slot and sign up: participation is free. 💚

To thank everyone who comes along to lend a hand, we’ve organised an unforgettable day in the open air, featuring tasty treats and activities for young and old alike.
Enjoy crêpes and waffles, warm up with some seasonal soup or hot chocolate, and take part in various workshops. There’ll also be children’s entertainment and a photo booth. And whilst you’re there, pop along to the Jane Goodall Institute Belgium information stand to learn more about biodiversity! 🌱

Venue: Rue de Herstal 43 (Oupeye Skatepark), 4680 Oupeye
Where possible, please travel to the planting site by bike or on foot, as there is limited parking available. 🍀

Registration is free and by time slot via: luminus.be/forestin-1day
