Some ideas of projects you can do with us

seeds bombs.png

Create seeds bombs

Seed bombing on a larger scale is done by introducing new vegetation to land by throwing or dropping compressed bundles of soil containing live vegetation.
This aerial revegetation dates back to the 1930s and is still used today to treat areas burned extensively by wildfires.
It’s cheap, compared to buying transplants, and kids can carry them about in their pockets!

birds balls.png

Create fat balls for birds

Give garden birds an energy-rich treat by making these fat cakes!

Birds love energy-rich fat balls, which give them all the calories they need to get through cold winter days and nights. You can buy them in the shops but they're easy to make.

Create a bee hotel

Bee hotels are a type of insect hotel for solitary pollinator bees, or wasps, providing them rest and shelter. Typically, these bees would nest in hollow plant stems, holes in dead wood, or other natural cavities; a bee hotel attempts to mimic this structure by using a bunch of hollow reeds or holes drilled in wood, among other methods.
