On Sunday 26 November, Luminus and Jane Goodall Institute Belgium will plant 3000 trees in Limbourg, Wallonia.

We would like to invite you to come and help plant between 10am and 4pm. Experience is not required, enthusiasm (and boots) all the more. To guide all this planting, we are calling on Sylva Nova, real specialists with a heart for forests.

During Luminus Forest in One Day, you can enjoy hot drinks, tasty seasonal soup, waffles and pancakes to recover. Also on the menu: children’s entertainment and workshops on trees and biodiversity.

Where do we plant the trees?

In one day, we are planting 3,000 trees on a 1.6-hectare site that was hit tremendously hard by the bark beetle five years ago and has been lying fallow in the meantime. Here is a picture of the site where we will plant trees.

The afforestation of this site will contribute to the fight against climate change and biodiversity loss in this region that was hit tremendously hard by floods in 2021. The fight against soil erosion is therefore crucial in this area along the Vesder.

Address: Rue Trixhes aux Rames, 4830 Limbourg
